Photo Mishmash Screensaver – Squeeze, Stretch, Swirl Your Photos
This Seraline-developed Windows screensaver will put a smile on your face. When your computer goes idle, the screensaver will kick in and will display images from a folder you selected. The thing is that it will squeeze, stretch and swirl your images, making them look funny. What starts off as an image of your puppy ends up looking like something quite strange – yet funny.
If you don’t have images stored on your computer (which is pretty hard to believe) or if you don’t want to use images from your computer (that’s more believable), you can instruct Photo Mishmash to search a specific webpage for images. The screensaver will use the ULR you provided to search for images, grab them, and use them as your screensaver.
You can also set it up so that Photo Mishmash will display pieces of text. You can type in whatever you want and Photo Mishmash will display that text.
The downside is that after a while the images will be so distorted that you will barely make out what they display.
Before you go get Photo Mishmash and put it to the test, check out the technical details presented below:
Download – the download weighs in at 694KB, which is quite lightweight. At such a lightweight download size, it will only take a moment to get Photo Mishmash off the web and onto your computer. A less than 1MB download will complete in a blink even on a less than spectacular internet connection, let alone a high-speed one. Personally, I like if when I don’t have to wait a long time for a download to complete.
Supported OS – at the time of writing this and according to the developer, Photo Mishmash works with the old but popular Windows XP, the much avoided Windows Vista, and the latest and greatest , Windows 7.
Limitations – Photo Mishmash is free to try, which means you can use it free of charge for a trial period of 14 days. Once the trial period is over, you will have to get a license to keep using it.
